Mel Turner is an Emmy-nominated New Zealand-based producer with 28 years of experience in screen production, specializing in physical production planning and logistics almost exclusively for international studios and production companies. She co-founded Ground Control NZ Limited in 2017 alongside Axel Paton, offering end-to-end production and producing services across New Zealand and Australia. She is best known as Executive Producer of Heart Eyes (2025) and Wolf Man (2025), and as Co-Executive Producer of Sweet Tooth across all three seasons (2021–2024). Her extensive career spans features and series drama, with earlier credits including Line Producer on Spartacus and Unit Production Manager across multiple seasons of that franchise.
