Maya Bankovic, CSC is an award-winning Canadian Director of Photography based in Toronto, working in narrative fiction, television, documentary, and commercial cinematography. She is best known for her work on Blue Heron (2025/2026 Janus Films release), Ordinary Angels (2024, starring Hilary Swank), Akilla's Escape (2021 Canadian Screen Award Winner for Achievement in Cinematography), and multiple seasons of Star Trek (Discovery, Strange New Worlds, Starfleet Academy), Mayor of Kingstown, and Cross. A member of IATSE Local 667 and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC), she holds an O1 work permit for the United States and is represented internationally by Worldwide Production Agency (WP-A) and in Canada by Mantl Reps.
