Matthew Tolmach is an American film and television producer and former co-president of production at Sony Pictures Entertainment (2003–2010), where he managed the Spider-Man franchise alongside Doug Belgrad. As founder of Matt Tolmach Productions — operating under a long-standing first-look deal with Sony Pictures — he has produced some of Hollywood's most commercially successful franchises, including the Jumanji sequels, the Venom trilogy, and Sony's Spider-Man Universe spin-off films, as well as serving as executive producer on all three MCU Spider-Man films. His company has expanded into television and streaming, most notably as executive producer on Apple TV+'s sci-fi series Dark Matter (2024–present, now in Season 2 returning August 28, 2026). Current projects in active development or production include Jumanji: Open World (2026), The Rosie Project (pre-production), and Stepdude (pre-production).
