About
Marty Bowen (born September 19, 1968, Fort Worth, Texas) is a Harvard AB '91 graduate, film and television producer, and co-founder of Temple Hill Entertainment, which he established in 2006 alongside Wyck Godfrey after a career as a partner and top literary agent at United Talent Agency, where his client roster included Charlie Kaufman and Larry McMurtry. As co-founder of Temple Hill, he has produced some of the most commercially successful franchises of the past two decades, including The Twilight Saga, The Maze Runner, The Fault in Our Stars, First Man, and the Smile franchise, accumulating over $5 billion in cumulative worldwide box office by 2025. Temple Hill operates across film, television, publishing, and audio under a renewed multi-year first-look film deal at Paramount Pictures and a TV first-look deal with Lionsgate, with offices in Los Angeles and London. Bowen's producing philosophy centers on emotionally driven, character-first storytelling and literary adaptation, championing underrepresented voices across genres from YA romance to horror.
