Marco Shepherd is President of Centropolis Entertainment, the production banner of blockbuster director Roland Emmerich, where he oversees development, acquisitions, production, business affairs, financing, packaging, licensing, marketing, and distribution for all film and TV projects. Originally from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, he graduated from Virginia Tech in 2005 with degrees in communication and graphic design before beginning his career editing commercials and assisting filmmakers. He joined Centropolis in 2009 as a second assistant, rapidly ascending through the ranks to Head of Production & Development in 2015 and subsequently to President, with credits including Independence Day: Resurgence (2016) and Moonfall (2022).
