Marc Jay Turtletaub (born January 30, 1946) is an American independent film producer and director, and the founder/owner of Big Beach, LLC (formerly Big Beach Films), a Los Angeles-based production company he co-founded in 2004. He is best known for producing the Academy Award-winning Little Miss Sunshine (2006), The Farewell (2019), and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019), and for directing the features Puzzle (2018) and Jules (2023). His most recent film as director, Borges and Me, screened at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2026. Before entering the film industry, Turtletaub was president and CEO of The Money Store, a national subprime lender he sold to First Union Bank in 1998 for $2.1 billion.
