Leah Holzer is a Brooklyn-based film and television producer and co-founder/partner of Defiant by Nature, the production company she runs alongside writer-director Marielle Heller. She previously served as VP of Production at The Weinstein Company and as a producer at Big Beach Films, with credits including A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019), Out of My Mind (2024), The Kings of Summer (2013), and the documentary series Nuclear Family. Defiant by Nature has an active first-look deal at Paramount Television Studios and a strong relationship with Searchlight Pictures, having produced Nightbitch (2024) and with The Glitch and The Comebacker in active development.
