Hayden Schlossberg is an American screenwriter, director, and producer born June 9, 1978, in Livingston, New Jersey, best known for co-creating and showrunning Netflix's Emmy-nominated series Cobra Kai (2018–2025) alongside Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald. He first rose to prominence co-writing the Harold & Kumar comedy franchise with Hurwitz, going on to co-write and co-direct Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008) and American Reunion (2012). Together with Hurwitz and Heald, he operates Counterbalance Entertainment under an overall deal at Sony Pictures Television, and the trio is currently in development on a Knight Rider feature film for Universal Pictures and a fourth Harold & Kumar film.
