About

Greg McLean is an Australian writer, director, and producer who rose to international prominence with his 2005 debut feature Wolf Creek, which played at Sundance and Cannes before achieving worldwide cult status. After training as a fine artist and completing a graduate diploma in directing at NIDA, he founded Emu Creek Pictures (Melbourne) and went on to direct Rogue, Wolf Creek 2, The Belko Experiment (MGM), The Darkness (Blumhouse), and Jungle, before serving as series director on the Netflix global Top 10 hit Territory (2024). He co-founded Huge Film with director Patrick Hughes and writer James Beaufort, and is currently developing The First Exorcist (with Helium/Upgrade, targeting late 2026 production) and the action horror Kill Screen.
