About
Debra Hayward is an Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated British film and television producer born in Liverpool in 1964, who spent over two decades at Working Title Films — joining in 1989 as a producer's assistant and rising to President of UK Production — where she executive produced landmark titles including Bridget Jones's Diary, Love Actually, Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. In 2014 she co-founded Monumental Pictures with Alison Owen, through which she has produced Les Misérables (Academy Award nomination for Best Picture), Cats, Bridget Jones's Baby, Mary Queen of Scots, Back to Black, and the 2025 Netflix thriller The Woman in Cabin 10. Monumental Television, the TV arm of the company, is 51% owned by ITV Studios and has produced acclaimed series including Harlots (Hulu) and Ghosts (BBC), with the company now developing projects for Amazon, Netflix, Sony, Universal, Lionsgate, and Studiocanal.
