Christina Malach is the President of Scripted Series at Media Res, the Emmy-nominated independent studio behind The Morning Show and Pachinko, a position she was promoted to in May 2026 after joining as SVP Development in 2023. Reporting to CEO Michael Ellenberg, she oversees the studio's full scripted slate including Enigma Variations (Netflix), The Miniature Wife (Peacock), The Chain (HBO), The Dealer (Apple TV), and the Hulu pilot Durango. Previously, she spent over four years as a senior development executive at Amazon Studios, overseeing such series as The Terminal List, The Wilds, A Very British Scandal, The English, and Dead Ringers, and before that held VP roles at Heyday Television and Amblin Television. She began her career spending nearly a decade in publishing at Random House, eventually as Editor-at-Large.
