Brian Young is an Emmy-nominated writer/producer/director based in Mount Vernon, Washington, and the founder of Jet City Films, an independent feature film production company. With a background spanning photography, fine art, history, and theatre, he has been making films since the age of fifteen and made his narrative feature debut in 1999 with 'Counting Days.' He is best known for his Emmy-nominated documentary 'The Mountain Runners' and the award-winning Civil War film 'Chapel Hill,' and also serves as Director of Skagit21 Television for Skagit County. He has taught 'Advanced Feature Film Production Techniques' at the Northwest Film School.
