Alan Marke is a BAFTA-winning British television producer and co-founder of Channel X, the UK comedy and entertainment production company he established in 1987 alongside Jonathan Ross to produce The Last Resort for Channel 4. Over more than three decades, he has served as executive producer on landmark British comedy series including Shooting Stars, Vic Reeves Big Night Out, The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, Detectorists, and So Awkward, working across all major UK broadcasters. He currently serves as Managing Director of Channel X and is a company director at Channel K and the Scottish venture Channel X Hopscotch, continuing to develop scripted comedy, drama, and documentary projects.
