Wieden+Kennedy Entertainment (WKE) is an independently owned American production company and arts and culture delivery channel operating as a subsidiary of the global advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, headquartered in Portland, Oregon. The division has created branded and non-branded original content since 2001, producing documentaries, series, and short-form content — notably in partnership with Nike — including the MTV2 series Battlegrounds, the documentary Ginga about Brazilian soccer, and Road to Paris following Lance Armstrong. The entertainment arm evolved from W+K Radio into a full content platform relaunched in 2009 under the creative direction of filmmaker Aaron Rose, distinguishing Wieden+Kennedy as one of the few advertising agencies with a dedicated standalone production and entertainment division.
