Versus Production

Founded in April 1999 by brothers Jacques-Henri and Olivier Bronckart, Versus Production is one of Belgium's most respected independent film production companies, known for championing auteur directors and producing critically acclaimed Belgian and European co-productions. The company has backed directors including Bouli Lanners, Joachim Lafosse, Olivier Masset-Depasse, and Guillaume Senez, with productions regularly selected for Cannes, Berlin, Venice, and Toronto. In 2024, Belgian production/commercial house Caviar acquired a 45% stake in Versus and its sister companies, with the aim of developing larger-scale international film and television projects. Versus also remains part of the European indie alliance 'The Creatives.'
