Verizon Go90

go90 was a free, ad-supported American over-the-top video streaming service and mobile app owned and operated by Verizon Communications, launched in October 2015. Positioned as a mobile-first 'social entertainment platform' targeting millennial demographics, it offered a mix of original short-form series, licensed TV content, and live sports. After failing to attract a sizable audience or significant advertising revenue, and following its absorption into Verizon's Oath subsidiary (formed by the merger of AOL and Yahoo), the service was shut down on July 31, 2018, with an estimated total investment of approximately $1.2 billion.
