Universal International Studios

Universal International Studios (UIS) is the global international television production arm of Universal Studio Group, a division of NBCUniversal, headquartered in London, England. The studio partners with storytellers from around the globe to create scripted and unscripted programming for international markets, and licenses NBCUniversal's formats worldwide through its NBCUniversal Formats division. Its in-house production companies include Carnival Films, Working Title Television, Heyday Television, and Monkey. As of June 2026, UIS is being merged with UCP (Universal Content Productions) into a new combined entity called Universal Global Television, under the continued leadership of President Beatrice Springborn.
