U&Alibi

U&Alibi is a British free-to-air premium digital television channel and the UK's only channel dedicated exclusively to crime drama. Originally launched on 1 November 1997 as UK Arena, the channel has passed through several names — UK Drama, UKTV Drama, and Alibi — before rebranding as U&Alibi on 7 November 2024. It is owned and operated by UKTV, which is itself a wholly owned subsidiary of the BBC. The channel's output combines first-run exclusive UK premieres with second-run showings of programmes from the BBC, ITV, and international broadcasters, available on Sky, Virgin Media, and NOW TV.
