Trincheira Filmes is an independent film production company based in Olinda/Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, founded by three filmmakers: Leonardo Lacca, Marcelo Lordello, and Tião (Bruno Ferreira Bezerra). The company is known for producing auteur-driven features and short films that have screened at major international festivals including Cannes, Rotterdam, MOMA/Lincoln Center, and San Francisco International Film Festival, accumulating approximately 60 awards in its first decade. Formally incorporated in June 2010 as a Sociedade Empresária Limitada (Ltda), it is a micro-enterprise and a key voice in the vibrant Pernambuco independent cinema scene.
