Tea Shop Productions (formerly The Tea Shop & Film Company) is a London-based independent film production company founded in 2010 by Mark Lane and James Harris, with producer Leonora Darby later joining. The company specialises in bold, commercially-driven genre films — including thrillers, horror, and action — developed with a US sensibility for financing and championing first-time or emerging directors. It is known for hits such as Cockneys vs Zombies, Tower Block, 47 Meters Down, Fall, The Surfer (starring Nicolas Cage), and the 2026 Focus Features release Obsession. The original legal entity was acquired by UK financier The Fyzz Facility in May 2016, with Lane and Harris continuing to operate the brand as a prolific independent shingle.
