About
The Hudson Theatre is a historic Broadway theater located at 141 West 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan, in New York City's Theater District. Built in 1902–1903 and opened on October 19, 1903, it is one of the oldest surviving Broadway venues, featuring 970 seats across three levels and celebrated Beaux-Arts Classical interior decor including original Tiffany glass domes and mosaic tiles. The theater is owned by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels and operated by ATG Entertainment (formed from the merger of Ambassador Theatre Group and Jujamcyn Theaters in 2023). Designated a New York City landmark in 1987 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016, the Hudson Theatre reopened as a Broadway house in February 2017 after an extensive renovation.
