The Amel Company

The Amel Company is a Los Angeles-based independent production company founded by Welsh-Iranian screenwriter and producer Arash Amel. The company develops and produces film, television, and comics content, and is noted for producing movies that generated 150 million hours viewed on Netflix in FY2023, including three US and global #1 titles since 2018. Amel's credits include A Private War (2018), Rise (2022) for Disney+, Outside the Wire (2021) for Netflix, and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024) for Paramount/Jerry Bruckheimer. The company is also an executive producer on the Amazon MGM Studios series Butterfly, based on Amel's own graphic novel.
