Tencent Video

Tencent Video (腾讯视频), also known internationally as WeTV, is a leading Chinese video streaming platform owned by Tencent Holdings Ltd., launched in April 2011. It offers an extensive content library including drama series, films, variety shows, animation, sports, documentaries, and original productions, operating on a freemium model with both ad-supported free content and a premium subscription tier. As of October 2022, Tencent Video had 120 million paid subscribers, ranking it as the 4th largest streaming service in the world. Its international arm, WeTV (launched 2018), distributes content across Southeast Asia and other international markets, with content available in Mandarin, English, Thai, Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese.
