Sunswept Entertainment is a Los Angeles-based independent production company founded by veteran producer and former Paramount Pictures Co-President of Production Karen Rosenfelt after she departed Paramount in 2005. The company initially operated under an exclusive first-look deal with Fox 2000 Pictures/20th Century Fox and has since produced under multiple major studio banners including Paramount Pictures, MGM, and Warner Bros. Known for high-grossing franchise films and literary adaptations, Sunswept's slate includes the Twilight Saga, the Percy Jackson film series, The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me, Me Before You, Max, and The Book Thief, with its films collectively grossing over $6.48 billion worldwide. Rosenfelt has also expanded into television, exec-producing Amazon's The Summer I Turned Pretty and the Emmy-nominated Hulu limited series Dopesick, while also forming the TV-focused Goldwyn/Rosenfelt Productions with a first-look deal at Warner Bros. Television.
