About

Sri Durga Arts is a long-established Telugu-language film production banner based in Hyderabad, India, founded and headed by producer K.L. Narayana (born September 16, 1957). The company is best known for commercially and critically successful Telugu productions including Kshana Kshanam (1991, dir. Ram Gopal Varma), Santosham (2002), Hello Brother (1994), and Rakhi (2006), for which it won the Santosham Film Award for Best Producer. Sri Durga Arts is currently co-producing Varanasi (2027), an epic action-adventure film directed by S.S. Rajamouli starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, budgeted at approximately ₹1,400 crore (~$150 million USD) — making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
