SRF

SRF (Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen – Swiss Radio and Television) is Switzerland's largest public media organisation for the German-speaking region, operating as a subsidiary of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR). Created on 1 January 2011 through the merger of Schweizer Radio DRS and Schweizer Fernsehen, SRF produces three television channels (SRF 1, SRF zwei, SRF info) and six radio channels, employing approximately 2,929 staff across main studios in Zurich, Basel, and Bern. As a publicly funded broadcaster, SRF is the dominant provider of news, entertainment, culture, sport, and documentary content in German-speaking Switzerland, and co-produces and distributes Swiss films internationally.
