About
The Southern California Railway Museum (SCRM) is a non-profit, volunteer-operated railroad museum located on a 90-acre site in Perris, California, housing the West's largest collection of over 200 historic railway locomotives, streetcars, interurban electric cars, passenger and freight cars, and other artifacts dating from the 1870s. Formerly known as the Orange Empire Railway Museum, it was founded in 1956 and adopted its current name in 2019. The museum operates a heritage railroad and streetcar loop on its grounds, offering public rides on weekends, and is home to the world's largest collection of Pacific Electric Railway rolling stock. SCRM hosts popular ticketed events including The Polar Express™, Day Out with Thomas™, and the Hogwarts Express™ Adventure, and is also available for private and corporate venue rentals.
