Smokehouse Pictures

Smokehouse Pictures is an American film and television production company founded in 2006 by Academy Award-winning actor/director George Clooney and producer Grant Heslov as a successor to Section Eight Productions. The company is named after the historic Smoke House restaurant located directly across the street from Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. Smokehouse is known for prestige, fact-based dramas and thrillers, most notably Argo (2012), which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. In March 2023, the company signed an overall film deal with Warner Bros. Pictures Group, returning to the studio where it first launched, with Clooney and Heslov resuming offices on the Warner Bros. lot.
