Small Dog Picture Company is the Los Angeles-based production banner of Emmy Award-winning director, writer, and producer Jason Winer. The company is best known for developing, executive producing, and directing high-profile network television comedies and dramas, with credits spanning ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, Hulu, Netflix, and Apple TV+. Winer founded the shingle after directing the pilot of ABC's landmark comedy Modern Family, and the company has since maintained an overall deal at 20th Television (formerly 20th Century Fox TV), under which it develops and produces scripted television across both broadcast and streaming platforms.
