About

SBS Films (operating as SBS Productions and SBS Distribution) is a Paris-based French film production, international sales, and distribution company founded in 2010 by Tunisian-French producer Saïd Ben Saïd, registered under the legal name 'Saïd Ben Saïd Productions' (SAS). The company specialises in international arthouse and auteur cinema, producing acclaimed films by world-renowned directors including Paul Verhoeven, Roman Polanski, Brian De Palma, David Cronenberg, Philippe Garrel, Kleber Mendonça Filho, Ira Sachs, and Nadav Lapid. In 2014, Ben Saïd expanded the company by founding SBS Distribution, a subsidiary dedicated to French theatrical distribution and international sales, cementing SBS as a vertically integrated boutique powerhouse with a strong presence at Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, and AFM.
