Ryan Murphy Television (also known as Ryan Murphy Productions) is the Los Angeles-based production banner of Emmy Award-winning writer, director, and producer Ryan Murphy. The company is behind some of the most culturally influential television series of the past two decades, including American Horror Story, Glee, Nip/Tuck, American Crime Story, Pose, 9-1-1, Monster, Grotesquerie, and Doctor Odyssey. Murphy held a landmark five-year, $300 million overall deal with Netflix (2018–2023) — the largest in television history at the time — before transitioning to a new overall deal with Disney/20th Television for FX, ABC, and Hulu projects.
