Ryan Murphy Productions (also known as Ryan Murphy Television) is the Los Angeles-based production banner of Emmy, Golden Globe, Tony, and Peabody Award-winning writer, director, and producer Ryan Murphy. The company has produced some of the most influential and commercially successful series in modern television history, including American Horror Story, Glee, American Crime Story, Pose, 9-1-1, and Monster. Murphy signed a landmark $300 million, five-year overall deal with Netflix in 2018 — reported as the largest development deal in television history — and subsequently entered a new overall deal with Disney/FX/ABC beginning in 2023. The company is known for championing inclusive storytelling and LGBTQ+ representation, as well as the Half Initiative promoting women and minorities behind the camera.
