It is the largest cruise line by revenue and second largest by passenger count, controlling approximately 27% of the worldwide cruise market as of 2025, and operating 29 ships across global destinations. Through its in-house entertainment division — Royal Caribbean Productions — the company functions as the world's largest premium live entertainment producer at sea, creating over 160 theatrical productions annually including Broadway-licensed musicals, ice spectaculars, aqua theater shows, and aerial productions, entertaining more than 175,000 audience members each night across 60+ onboard venues.
