Passenger

Passenger is a New York-based premium scripted drama and film production company founded in May 2019 by producer Richard Brown (True Detective, Catch-22, Outlaw King), initially with backing from Fremantle under an exclusive multi-year deal. In December 2022, Fremantle completed the full acquisition of Passenger, making it a fully owned label operating within Fremantle's Global Drama division. The company is known for producing high-caliber, prestige film and television projects with an international scope, including the acclaimed Sky drama This England (starring Kenneth Branagh as Boris Johnson) and co-producing HBO's True Detective franchise.
