In December 2023, Williamson and Outerbanks entered into a multi-year overall deal with Universal Television, with projects including The Waterfront (Netflix, 2025) and Scream 7 (Paramount, 2026). The company's name is a reference to Williamson's roots in Oriental, North Carolina.
