About

MyStar Media is the personal nameplate brand of Larry Nemecek — Star Trek author, historian, consultant, host, and producer — operating out of Burbank, California. Functioning as an umbrella entity, it encompasses Portal 47, Trekland Treks, the documentary project 'The Con of Wrath,' the video blog Trekland, and all of Nemecek's writing, hosting, speaking, consulting, event planning, and acting work in the Star Trek, sci-fi, and broader pop culture/geek genre space. The brand name itself derives from a 'Nemecek' star that appeared in Star Trek star charts, a personal in-joke Nemecek transformed into his professional identity.
