Founded on January 31, 2012 by director and producer Jordan Peele, Monkeypaw Productions is an American independent film and television production company headquartered in Los Angeles. The company is best known for producing critically acclaimed genre films including Get Out (2017), Us (2019), Candyman (2021), Nope (2022), and Monkey Man (2024), as well as television series such as Key & Peele, The Last O.G., The Twilight Zone, Lovecraft Country, and Hunters. Named after the 1902 horror short story 'The Monkey's Paw,' the company champions thought-provoking, socially conscious genre storytelling, and operates under an exclusive multi-year deal with Universal Pictures covering both film and television.
