Maximum Effort

Maximum Effort Productions, Inc. is an American film production company and digital marketing agency co-founded in 2018 by actor Ryan Reynolds and former Fox digital marketing executive George Dewey. The company produces feature films, television series, unscripted content, and viral advertising campaigns, and is known for its 'Fastvertising' approach — producing high-impact, culturally relevant ads in hours or days. Maximum Effort holds a first-look film deal with Paramount Pictures (through December 2026) and a first-look TV deal with 20th Television (signed March 2025), and was named one of Time's 100 Most Influential Companies in 2025. Following the April 2025 buyback of its marketing arm from MNTN, the film/TV studio and marketing agency have been reunited under one roof.
