Lin Pictures

Lin Pictures was a Los Angeles-based film and television production company founded on December 12, 2007 by Dan Lin after he departed Warner Bros., where he served as Senior Vice President of Production. The company operated under a first-look deal at Warner Bros., producing blockbuster franchises including Sherlock Holmes, The LEGO Movie series, and the IT horror films, collectively grossing over $6 billion at the worldwide box office. In 2018, Lin Pictures was formally rebranded as Rideback, repositioning as a next-generation filmmaker collaboration company with a creative campus (Rideback Ranch) in LA's Historic Filipinotown. In February 2024, founder Dan Lin departed Rideback to become Chairman of Netflix Films, with Jonathan Eirich and Michael LoFaso elevated to co-CEOs of the ongoing company.
