Les Films du Worso is a Paris-based French independent film production company, founded in 2003/2005 by Sylvie Pialat, former companion of celebrated director Maurice Pialat. The company is a major force in international auteur cinema, with a catalogue of over 50 feature films, 20+ Cannes selections, 2 Silver Bears (Berlinale), around 30 César nominations, and 2 Oscar nominations — most notably for Abderrahmane Sissako's Timbuktu (2014). The company works with leading European and world directors including Alain Guiraudie, Guillaume Nicloux, Xavier Beauvois, Joachim Lafosse, Corneliu Porumboiu, and Amos Gitaï, among many others.
