Kusini Productions

Kusini Productions Ltd is a London-based, female-led production company founded in 2020 by writer, actor, filmmaker and activist Cat White, dedicated to creating opportunities and championing the voices of Black women and girls. The company takes its name from the 1976 American/Nigerian film 'Countdown at Kusini,' the first major motion picture produced by an organisation of Black women. Through short films produced for institutions such as the BFI and BBC, Kusini Productions has established itself as a multi-award-winning platform committed to diverse and underrepresented storytelling.
