About

ITV2 is a British free-to-air television channel owned by ITV plc (via its ITV Digital Channels division), launched on 7 December 1998. The channel primarily targets the 16–34 age demographic and is best known for flagship reality formats such as Love Island and Big Brother, original comedies, acquired American animation programming (Family Guy, American Dad!, Bob's Burgers), and ITV soap repeats. As of June 2025, ITV2 expanded its reality output by absorbing programming previously aired on ITVBe (which was replaced by ITV Quiz), including The Only Way Is Essex and The Real Housewives franchises. The channel is available on Freeview (Channel 6), Freesat, Sky, Virgin Media, and the ITVX streaming platform.
