Indigenous Screen OfficeFollow

The Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) is an independent national advocacy and funding organization serving First Nations, Inuit, and Métis creators of screen content across Canada. Founded in 2017–18, the ISO champions Indigenous narrative sovereignty by funding and supporting the development, production, marketing, and distribution of Indigenous screen stories across film, television, digital, gaming, and emerging platforms. Receiving support from Canadian Heritage and founded in collaboration with APTN, CBC, Telefilm Canada, the Canada Media Fund, the NFB, and the Canadian Media Producers Association, the ISO operates two key funding streams — the ISO Story Fund and Sector Development — and has grown into a key national institution for Indigenous screen-based storytelling.
