Indian Paintbrush Productions LLC is an American independent film production and financing company founded in 2006 by billionaire businessman Steven M. Rales, headquartered in Santa Monica, California. The company specializes in comedy-drama, art-house, and romantic films, and is best known for its long-running creative partnership with filmmaker Wes Anderson, having produced every one of his films since The Darjeeling Limited (2007). Beyond the Anderson collaboration, Indian Paintbrush has financed and produced critically acclaimed films including Like Crazy (2011), Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015), and Conclave (2024), and has a long-standing distribution relationship with Searchlight Pictures (formerly Fox Searchlight). In 2023, the company launched Galerie, an immersive online film club and subscription service, and in May 2024, founder Rales personally acquired the Criterion Collection and Janus Films.
