Ibermedia

Programa Ibermedia is the largest pan-regional co-development, co-production, distribution, and financing fund focused on Ibero-American cinema, encompassing 21 member countries across Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. Founded in 1995 by resolution of the V Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government and launched operationally in Madrid in 1997–1998, it promotes excellence in Ibero-American film, supports independent producers through co-production grants, training scholarships, and distribution funding. To date the programme has invested over $108 million USD across more than 3,100 beneficiary projects, helped bring more than 700 films to release, and supported over 10,000 industry professionals.
