Hilltop Screen

Hilltop Screen is a London-based British drama production company co-founded in January 2022 by multi-award-winning producer Hilary Bevan Jones (Managing Director) and UK media lawyer Medwyn Jones (Commercial Director), originally incorporated as Leighdale Productions Limited. The company focuses on high-quality British drama for film and television, with projects in development at major broadcasters and global streaming platforms. In October 2025, John Gore Studios acquired a majority stake in Hilltop Screen, integrating it into an end-to-end studio pipeline spanning development, production, and global distribution. Its flagship production is Onward and Sideways (BBC One/cinema), a 90-minute feature directed by Academy Award-nominated John Madden and starring Laura Linney and Rhys Ifans.
