Glass Eye Pix is a fierce independent NYC-based film production company founded in 1985 by art-horror auteur Larry Fessenden, described by Filmmaker Magazine as 'one of the indie scene's most productive and longest-running companies.' The company is known primarily for producing auteur-driven horror films and supporting emerging independent filmmakers, and has launched the careers of directors including Ti West, Kelly Reichardt, Jim Mickle, Glenn McQuaid, and Jenn Wexler. In addition to narrative features, Glass Eye Pix produces documentaries, audio dramas (Tales from Beyond the Pale), comics, and other media, operating under the low-budget horror banner Scareflix for genre projects.
