Futhur Films

Furthur Films is an American independent film and television production company founded by actor-producer Michael Douglas on November 19, 1997. The company is incorporated in New York and has offices on the Universal Studios lot in Universal City, California. Known for producing commercially and critically recognized projects across feature film and television, Furthur Films' credits include Don't Say a Word (2001), It Runs in the Family (2003), The Sentinel (2006), We Have Always Lived in the Castle (2018), and the Netflix series Ratched (2020). Michael Douglas also executive produces through the company by virtue of his ownership of the screen rights to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
