Fred Senior Films is the Brooklyn-based independent production company of writer-director-producer Jeff Rutherford (MFA, NYU Graduate Film School). The company has produced short films, music videos, and Rutherford's debut feature 'A Perfect Day for Caribou' (2022), which world-premiered in competition at the 75th Locarno Film Festival (Concorso Cineasti del Presente) and was released on North American VOD and DVD by Freestyle Digital Media in April 2024. Fred Senior Films recently wrapped production on its second feature, 'In Our Own Sweet Way,' starring J. Smith-Cameron and Jefferson White, produced in association with Stoner Ranch Productions, Echo & Add, and Fair Oaks Entertainment.
