Freckle Films

Freckle Films is a New York-based independent film and television production company founded in 2016 by actress and producer Jessica Chastain. The company is dedicated to developing and producing female-driven content, with a mission to amplify stories and voices that have historically been underrepresented in mainstream Hollywood. Notable productions include Oscar-winning The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021), the Showtime miniseries George & Tammy (2022), and the Netflix smash hit limited series His & Hers (2025), which became one of Netflix's top 10 most-watched English-language TV titles of all time. Freckle Films holds a first-look deal with Fifth Season Television and is currently in production on The Dealer (Apple TV+) and The Savant (Apple TV+).
